As the founder of Lawyers Law Book, a law book publishing house, he began his journey with a singular vision: to serve the legal community by providing authoritative and comprehensive law books across different branches of law. Starting with nothing but a dream, Shri G.V. Murthy built Lawyers Law Book in the year 1990 from the ground up, and today, it stands as a trusted name in legal publishing.

With an eye for detail and a passion for accuracy, Shri G.V. Murthy has always focused on publishing books authored by esteemed Retired judges and renowned lawyers of Karnataka, ensuring that legal professionals had access to the most relevant and reliable resources. His work in this area has been invaluable, helping to bridge the gap between legal practitioners and the vast body of knowledge they need to excel in their field.

But his contributions didn’t stop there. In 1999, recognizing the need for an easily accessible platform for keeping up with landmark case laws and legal precedents, Shri G.V.Murthy launched the Karnataka Civil and Criminal Reporter, a fortnightly law journal aimed at updating the legal fraternity with the latest judgments and legal developments from both the Karnataka High Court and the Supreme Court of India. This initiative further cemented his dedication to keeping legal professionals informed and prepared for their work.
